Chris is co-fouder and CEO of Olea. Chris continues to serves President of American Health, the country’s largest senior-focused diagnostics platform. As a partner to Olea, American Health’s platform powers Olea’s products and services.
Chris was recognized as a global shaper by the World Economic Forum, is a member of the Executive Committee of YPO Miami, is the Chair of Diagnostics Testing Committee for the National Association for the Support of Long-Term Care, is a member of the American Academy of Clinical Chemistry, the American College of Healthcare Executives, and the American Clinical Laboratory Association. Chris serves as the Chair of Fuqua’s Healthcare Alumni Advisory Board and the Diagnostics Testing Committee for the National Association for the Support of Long-Term Care.
Chris holds a B.S. from Duke University, where he studied History, Religion, and Markets and Management Studies. He was Chair of the University’s Honor Council, and President of Campus Recreation in which capacity he served on the Athletics Subcommittee of the university’s Board of Trustees. Chris was also the Captain of the Cycling Team which has won six national titles since 2011. Chris also completed his M.B.A. at Duke’s Fuqua School of Business with a concentration in Health Sector Management. Chris is now the Chair of Fuqua’s Healthcare Alumni Advisory Board. In 2017, Chris began the Owners and Presidents Management Program at Harvard Business School.
In his spare time, Chris loves to travel and drink espresso.
Prior to co-founding Olea, Omar was CEO of Transform Brands, where he led Kenmore and DieHard, two iconic American brands. Prior to Transformco, Omar served as Chief Product Officer of Magic Leap, the global leader in augmented reality.
Prior to Magic Leap, Omar has served in multiple leadership positions public and private technology companies.
During his tenure as Samsung Mobile’s Chief Product and Technology officer, Omar directed its smartphone strategy and evolution. He led the company’s transition to the Android platform globally and the development, launch and go-to- market of the first two generations of the Galaxy devices. Omar was responsible for building and maintaining the company’s strategic partnership with Google’s Android and Chrome divisions. During his tenure, Samsung rose to number one in North American mobile market share.
As an expert in the mobile technology industry, Omar has written Op-Ed’s, blogs and has appeared numerous times on CNBC, Bloomberg and Fox Business.

Omar currently serves on the advisory boards of Social Mobile, Peregrine Precision Systems and Loose Cannon Systems. He is an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), where he is the Member Engagement Officer for the YPO Miami chapter. Omar graduated from MIT with Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering. He completed his graduate work in System Dynamics in conjunction with MIT’s Sloan School of Management. He resides in South Florida with his wife and three kids.
Shantanu Phatakwala is a seasoned healthcare data science and technology executive with a passion for improving care and patient experience while lowering costs. Shantanu is an expert in health outcomes prediction and an advocate for the adoption of racially unbiased predictive models in healthcare.
Prior to joining Olea as Chief Digital Officer, Shantanu built and led various data teams at three mission-driven healthcare companies. Most recently, Shantanu was the General Manager and Head of Data Science at Haven – the healthcare venture formed by Amazon, Berkshire Hathaway, and JP Morgan Chase. Shantanu led the data and engineering team to build a data platform and generate insights for Haven’s founders.
Prior to Haven, Shantanu was VP, Research & Development at Evolent Health where he oversaw population health and value-based care analytics with 25 health systems and health plans representing 3.5 million lives. At Resolution Health (later acquired by Anthem), Shantanu built predictive analytics capabilities and scaled it to Anthem’s entire book of business.
Shantanu studied machine at Stanford and has master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. Shantanu lives in Bethesda with his wife and two kids.
